On the jacket's back flap of this 1951 Simon & Schuster second edition, "Now A.E. van Vogt has somewhat revised his story ?." "First Printing" on its copyright page. This book is in near fine condition, marred only by very light bumps on its spine ends. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn, with bright gilt titles on its front and spine. Pages are unmarked and unworn. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in very good condition, marred only by a 1/4" chip in back bottom edge, small chips in the top edge of the spine folds, a 1/2" closed tear in its front top edge, plus traces of wear along spine folds and front flap fold. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
