An in depth examination of sleep and dreams, with very innovative ideas for the mid-19th century. This John Symonds is the father of the English poet by the same name. This copy is unfortunately without boards; however, it is otherwise intact and unmarked. Pages are age-toned with light foxing on feps and first few pages; pgs 61-66 have folded top corners; pgs 83 & 85 each have a very small tear at side edge.
