What if your gaming character became more than just a role you play? When six friends receive mysterious crystal USB drives and an invitation to reunite for a gaming session after nearly thirty years, they can't resist the nostalgic pull of their favorite role-playing game, Space Lords of Strata. Dr. Stephen Maddox, using his old gaming persona Thomas Bright, promises them an immersive experience beyond anything they've ever imagined. But this is no ordinary game. The revolutionary technology from the secretive Jaddus Corporation blurs the line between reality and fantasy, gradually erasing the players' memories of their real lives as they become the characters they created decades ago. As they delve deeper into the simulation, the friends discover they're playing with stakes higher than winning or losing. The Jaddus "Collective" has plans for these Space Masters; they claim they need them, but for what? This is the gamelit prequel novella to Space Lords of Strata: Space Masters Expansion Book 1

Life is indeed stranger than fiction, which is why Beckett Blaise has such a strong sense of humor. Many of the off the wall things that happen to his protagonists have actually happened to him in real life! The more outlandish and unbelievable the thing, the more likely it actually happened. When he decided to write books, he made only one rule: I will not hold back and will just let myself go no matter how offensive or dirty the dish! I don't want to worry about anything. I just want to tell the story my way. That’s his mantra, credo, and promise and he lives by it. Beckett hails from Texas but he never felt he fit in to the Texas crowd. He has always been different and that’s all right with him. He loves Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror. Sometimes he likes all three at once. He writes to be free, so he writes freely. Fantasy means you fantasize about things real and unreal, so if you can dream up things like demons, aliens, vampires, wizards, and more you can fit them into any story.
