Providing teachers with a firsthand look into the lives of children with exceptionalities, as well as their families and educators, this fully updated Fourth Edition of Richard Gargiulo’s acclaimed text provides a highly readable, research-based introduction to the field. Blending theory with practice, the book helps pre-service and in-service teachers develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and beliefs they’ll need to construct learning environments that make it possible for all students to reach their potential.
Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor:
Tonya Lewis was born in Texas in 1962. A very physical artist, Lewis enjoys the tactile qualities of paint, papier-mache, and pastels. She likes to layer different media and etch into her work after it has dried to reveal the colors beneath. Her art varies between abstract and figurative, and she prefers to work on a large scale.
Tonya is an artist who works at Creativity Explored, a nonprofit visual arts center in San Francisco where artists with developmental disabilities have been creating, exhibiting, and selling art for over 27 years. See more of her work at www.creativityexplored.org.
