By John Cadwalader and printed in Washington, D.C. by the Congressional Globe Office. In fair condition, with rubbing and wear to edges of covers. Slight loss of bottom of first and last page. Text block is complete and held together by a single nail, with pages loose at the top and bottom. General age-related toning and light foxing to pages. Minor marginalia on top of title page. A scarce House speech by John Cadwalader (1805-1879), a Democratic politician and jurist who served a single term in the House of Representatives from Pennsylvania.
