The Dust Jacket is in a new clear protective Mylar sleeve and has evenly age toned with a scuff above the graphic and a hint of hand-soiling. 8vo; 7.5 inches tall; 126 pages. This collection of poems from the' Bard of the Yukon' reflect the wildness of the West, the Gold Rush and the Yukon territories. Robert Service, the Bard of the Yukon, often bent his poetic skills to other events and experiences. During World War One he served as an ambulance driver and from this perspective he penned numerous verses describing the horror, the glory and the tedium of the conflict.
