A meticulously crafted study and bibliography detailing the work of printer Stanislaus Polonus (died after 1514), of Polish descent. Polonus operated from 1489 in Naples, and from 1491 to 1504 in Seville and Alcalá de Henares. This publication is adorned with facsimiles of books printed by Polonus, as well as initials and printer's marks he utilized. Additionally, it includes a chronological list of books printed by Polonus. Limited to 1600 copies, this is copy number 524. 'Oficyna Warszawska' was established in 1938 by book designers Anatol Girs and Boles?aw Barcz; in 1945, Girs relocated the workshop to Munich. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 006589
