Two volumes of this biographical novel by Martin F. Tupper, in very attractive Zahendorf leather binding. Containing a frontispiece plate and decorative title page, the work contains both volumes bound into one, and contains the bookbinders' stamp of Zahensdorf. In crushed morocco binding with gilt detailing. Externally very smart, there is some minor wear to extremities and sunning to backstrip only.
