There are only seven holdings held by institutions across the world, according to WorldCat. VERY SCARCE to find in this condition. CONDITION:FINE. Some minor pigment loss to top cover and perhaps some light page toning else VERY FINE, LIKE NEW. BOOK INFO Stock Market Manipulation by Edwin Lefevre, the author of the classic business title "Reminisces of a Stock Operator." Published in 1967 by Traders Press, The Little Press of Jack R. Levien, on Wall Street, New York City. Stated limited deluxe first edition of only 2,000 (this is #811). However, it is likely that far fewer copies were actually printed as they rarely come up for sale, unlike LeFevre's other titles. It was the only printing of this novel in book form. Published in fine green full leather with gilt tooled lettering and decoration and marbled endpaper Miniature book, 3.75 in. x 3 in. Frontispiece portrait, 75 pages. SYNOPSIS The story follows Larry Livingston (based on Jesse Livermore) as he navigates the highs and lows of the financial markets, mastering the art of speculation and learning invaluable lessons along the way. The book provides insights into market trends, technical analysis, and the intricacies of market manipulation. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Edwin Lefevre (1871-1943) was an American journalist, writer, and diplomat, who is most noted for his writings on Wall Street business. Of the eight books written by Edwin Lefevre, his Reminiscences of a Stock Operator is considered a classic of American business writing. The book began as a series of twelve articles published during 1922 and 1923 in The Saturday Evening Post. It is written as first-person fiction, telling the story of a professional stock trader on Wall Street. While published as fiction, generally, it is accepted to be the biography of stock market whiz, Jesse Livermore. The book has been reprinted in almost every decade since its original publication in 1925, the latest put out by John Wiley & Sons in hardcover and a paperback edition in 1994 that remains in print. It has been translated into the Chinese, German, French, Polish, and Italian languages, amongst others.…

Shopbeschreibung

I have been a private collector of antique, rare and collectible books for over 30 years. I have been selling rare books for over 12 year and have a 100% customer satisfaction rating on all venues from which I sell. I am a collector first and know what it's like to receive items not matching the seller's descriptions or that were poorly packaged and damaged in transit. That is why I offer a 100% satisfaction money back guarantee. I go to great lengths to accurately describe my rare, signed and collectible books and post pictures of the "actual book." I carefully package and ship your newly acquired treasure(s) and generally ship within one business day of receiving your order. Please send me an email if you would like additional pictures of a book or have any questions. Kind Regards, Ryan…
