Hardcover. The dark blue cover has a pastedown with the title in black and an elephant with its trunk in a gators mouth, in yellows and oranges and browns; the spine has the title in red. The corners, pastedown and cover is shelf worn; the corners are bumped and worn as are the top and bottom of the spine, the trimmed head is orange. The endpapers are in black and white with animals and a child walking; there is a space for a child to write their name in and there is a dedication there. The interior is age yellow with some finger prints here and there; there are wonderful black and white and colored pictures throughout. 249pp. See our other Kipling books.
