Gilt text block edges. Clean pages and illustrations with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Minor tearing to some page edges, more pronounced to page 40. Minor loss to fore edge of frontispiece. Text is unaffected. Tightly bound with thumb-marking throughout. Minor water staining to text block edges. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends.
