Includes the 4 x 3 inch tipped in lithographic picture of the Head of Christ, also called the Sallman Head, a 1940 portrait painting of Jesus of Nazareth by American artist Warner Sallman (1892â "1968). At the bottom left of the picture is a copyright date of 1941 by Kriebel & Bates - who in 1941 were the exclusive publishers of Sallmanâ s art) The picture has a small half inch tear at the center right edge. No marks noted in text. The stapled wraps binding is sound. The cover has wear and tanning as well as a damp stain at the bottom corner.
