Beschreibung:

This Book is in Good Condition. Clean Copy With Light Amount of Wear. 100% Guaranteed. Summary: The little girl in this story, the youngest in her family, is trying to find her place in the world. In the midst of a Summer filled with swimming, exploration, old-fashioned imaginary play, and the teasing of older siblings, she wakes up one night to a unique experience. Was it just a dream or was what happened on that moon-filled night something more, that helped define a young girl's faith? Originating from the oral tradition of Ms Bodach's ancestry, and illustrated in basic silhouette cutouts, this story is a testimony to a slower and simpler way of life, a celebration of the world of childhood, and a message of connection to our natural surroundings that has nearly been lost to modern, materialistic life today. Über den Autor: Marty Bodach has been exploring her Mohawk ancestry since she was very young when her paternal grandmother introduced her to traditional storytelling and woods lore. She lives with her husband in Southwestern Connecticut where they raised their two children and various dogs, cats, and critters and where she is a middle school Social Studies teacher. This is her first children's book.
