This VG quality Landmark book was published by Random House in 1959. The book has a slight lean, is very clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; there is no soiling. The spine ends are lightly bumped and the bottom edge has very little wear; the hinges are strong and tight. For about 1/4" along both top and bottom edges, the binding color looks slightly altered. The interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any type and paper damage of any sort. The paper is slightly toned but is very flexible. Plus it has 12 pages of photographs. And there is a letter laid in from the author addressed to "Young Readers". The VG- quality jacket is clean and has no fading; it has wear at the front corners and at the spine ends, with a chip in the spine shield and a tear with a chip at the top of the front panel.
