nd (c1923) 1st 2/- edition, 12 mo., 18.2 x 11.5 cm red cloth with blind stamped decoration to the front and black stamped titles and decoration to the spine, 254pp, including original dust jacket with 2/- NET price to the spine. Some loss of colour to front and rear boards with drip stains of 0.7 and 1cm to the front board. There is some rubbing to the shoulders, spine tips and corners. There is some toning to the edges pages, a result of the quality of paper used . The jacket is a little dust stained and creased and there is the faint trace of red colouring coming through from the cover on the front panel. Loss of 3cm to the foot of the spine and ½ cm to the head together with 2.5cm slither from the front panel. Closed tear of 2.5cm to the lower joint and a few small closed tears of less than ½ cm to the edges. An early copy of this Irish political thriller with scarce original dust jacket.
