Return with us to the 1970s: cars made of steel (and easy to work on), long unkempt hair, paisleys, the Cold War with the U.S.S.R., the Vietnam War, cheap gas, rock and roll, hitchhiking, muscle cars, Presidents Nixon and Carter, and on and on. Quietly, stealthily (literally under the radar), the United States Military served all over the world --- from places like Vietnam, Germany and Korea to the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The Sub-Par Adventures of Snakebite & Stonefinger tells the true stories of two intrepid submariners who served their country with honor, integrity and mirth. More importantly, you will learn what it’s like to live and work on a submarine!

Bill (Snakebite) Sanner's ordinary life has been filled with one extraordinary circumstance after another. Striking out on his own at a young age, he was forced to make adult decisions about many things that led to nine years of military service to his country through the Navy. Decades later, after telling his "sea stories" all day at one particularly entertaining (and long) birthday party, he decided to write them down while he still remembered them. This book is that reflection. An accomplished musician, songwriter and orchestrator, he fully expresses his clamoring creative side while owning and operating the same computer business he's run for 30 years. Bill is still married to his high school sweetheart Dee and enjoys the love of four wonderful daughters and eight terrific grandchildren. For more information, check out www.billsanner.com
