The leather covered spine and tips show wear, e.g. fading to the color, board exposed, small pieces missing, but the gilt lettering and decorations on the spine are bright. The pebbled dark red cloth boards also show wear. The front hinge is broken, but the unpaginated leafs remain tightly bound. There are a few finger smudges to the margins of the pages, but the black-and-white images and the text material are clean and bright The end papers show some toning, and there are some creases to the lower corners of approximately 17 leafs.
