Ian and Lacey Carlisle are no strangers to struggle within their marriage. Having lost many battles with infertility, Ian and Lacey's relationship has suffered drastically and brought them to a place far beyond repair. After agreeing to an informal separation, Ian and Lacey navigate life apart, with just one exception-they both work for Seattle's top consulting firm, making interactions inevitable. As the months pass, Ian and Lacey find themselves periodically backsliding into the familiar comfort of each other's arms. While these moments allow Ian to grow certain that their separation was a mistake, Lacey doesn't believe that Ian truly wants to salvage what they once had. Wanting nothing more than to focus on her career, Lacey's life becomes interesting when a new neighbor moves in across the street. Impossibly attractive, Logan Hayes is not only tall, dark, and handsome, but he possesses an intrigue that immediately draws Lacey in. Just when Lacey feels that moving on may be a possibility, Ian sends Lacey's emotions into a whirlwind when he finally admits his feelings. Quickly caught in a love triangle, Lacey finds herself in a dangerous situation when things take an unexpected turn.
