Über die Autorinnen und Autoren: Ruth Symons is an author and editor whose works include Christmas Lights, Mrs Owl's Forest School, the Paper World series and the international best-selling Baby on Board books. When she's not writing and editing, Ruth loves gardening, hiking and playing elaborate (messy) games with her three young children.

Matthew Scott is an award-winning illustrator currently based in the UK. His bold, colourful artwork has seen him working with a diverse range of creative teams to produce children's books, toys, games, apps and animations for TV shows.


His artwork always begins its life with sketches using pencil and paper, which is then coloured digitally using various programs and scanned textures.
