Three volumes. Octavos. 90pp., 83pp., and 144pp. Perfectbound in printed wrappers. The 1879 volume has two gelatin silver photographs tipped in at the front: a Signed photograph of Syracuse Dean John R. French and a photograph of a drawing of the editors in which their photographic portraits were pasted onto cartoon bodies. Very good with light wear and rubbing to the wraps, the front wraps of the 1877 and 1879 volumes are detached, and the owner name of Edward L. Harris in the 1878 volume. The volumes comprise three of the four annuals issued by the secret societies of the Syracuse University: Delta Kappa Epsilon, Zeta Psi, and Psi Upsilon. Each volume is filled with dry humor and biting satire alongside typical college annual staples such as lists of trustees, officers, faculty, and students, calendar of events, editorial, and student created illustrations (many quite macabre). Additionally two small broadsheet laid into two issues, one for the Anti- Secret Society of Syracuse University and another for Hoagland's which offers the "Best Old Government Java Coffee and Maricabo Coffees."
