Vol. 1:- Oedipe, Fragments d'Artémire, Mariamne, L'Indiscret; pp(4)VI(2)256. Vol. 2:- Brutus, Eryphile, Zaïre, Samson; pp280. Vol. 3:- Adélaïde du Guesclin, La Mort de César, Tanis et Zélide, Alzire, L'Enfant Prodigue; pp305(1). Vol. 4:- Zulime, Pandore, Le Fanatisme, Mérope; pp271(1). Vol. 5:- La Princesse de Navarre, Le Temple de la Gloire, La Prude, Sémiramis; pp332(4). Hardbacks / hard covers: later (c1900) uniform bindings of green marbled paper-covered backstrips and boards, each backstrip with manuscript title and volume number on white paper label. Plain white endpapers. Backstrips rubbed at heads and lightly so at tails, paper labels toned. Front hinge of Vol. 5 a little rubbed. Outer corners of boards a little rubbed, bumped & curled. Endpapers a little toned and/or lightly spotted; owner signature dated 1912 on each front flyleaf, together with small stamp of later owner. Edges of text-blocks toned, top edges also dust-marked. Contents of Vols. 1-3 with occasional minor foxing & toning; one leaf - pages 49/50 - of Vol. 2 with loss at lower outer corner, affecting just first word ("Le") of final line on page 50. Contents of Vols. 4 & 5 variably though mainly-lightly foxed & toned, with offsetting from plates, and largish but mainly-faint dampstains throughout. Bindings holding firmly and of pleasing appearance, contents for the most part clean and tight. Overall condition GOOD+ / en bon état. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 27839
