4 vols. 524p; 527p; 534p; 527p. Ex-library. A set of four hardcover books bound in 1/4 black leather with red cloth boards. Edges rubbed and cloth lightly stained here and there. The spine leather of volume I has a surface crack starting down the middle. The spines of volumes II-IV are faded and have sticker residue in the middle. Pages toned and lightly foxed with age. Closed tear on page 243 in volume IV is held with tape, plus some light edge stains on nearby pages. Library bookplates, card pockets, and stamps inside, but text otherwise clean and binding secure across the set. An important early portrait of New England society by a president of Yale. Shipping within the USA:
Priority shipping is $10.50 for delivery by either UPS or Priority Mail. Delivery is within 2-6 business days and includes tracking and insurance. Economy shipping is $5.50 for delivery bu US Media Mail with delivery confirmation. Our shipping prices may be higher than others but consider that all items are carefully wrapped in bubblewrap, cushioning material, and secure packaging - you won't receive a book dropped into a plain paper envelope! Items are shipped daily, usualy within 24 hours of receipt of order. Customers with special shipping/handling requests and directions should chose our regular shipping.
