A very good copy, with some minor rubbing to the binding and a short newspaper cutting to the front endpaper. Folding engraved frontispiece and 12 further engravings, 10 folding. William Forsyth served as superintendent of the royal gardens at St James' and Kensington Palaces from 1784 until his death, and was a founding member of the Royal Horticultural Society.
