He began publishing his version of this work in 1820.Translated from the Swedish by Captain H. Spalding.A remarkable epic poem, and an important part of Swedish literary history translated in to English. The first English edition of this work. In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart with just a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine discolouring the cloth. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed.
