First American edition (stated). Green cloth with dust jacket. Very good copy, cloth unfaded, in very good dust jacket. Jacket shows very slight wear at the ends of the spine panel, front inside panel price-clipped. Largish bookseller's ticket of Duttenhofer's Book Treasures, Cincinnati, Ohio in the lower right corner of the front pastedown endpaper. Three children are transported along with a talkative parrot to a mysterious land called Mythologia whose fauna includes unicorns, phoenixes, and other mythical beasts.
