Chief Inspector Andreas Kaldis must investigate the brutal murders of two unidentified victims on an idyllic Greek island and stop the robbery of the century—while getting married in the process!

In an isolated olive grove on the idyllic Aegean island of Tinos, the remains of two bodies charred beyond recognition are discovered chained together amid pieces of an incinerated Greek flag. An enraged press screams out for justice for the unknown victims, until the dead are identified as Roma and the story simply dies.

Is it a clan war, a hate crime, or something else? With no one seeming to care, the Greek government has no interest in resurrecting unwanted media attention and orders the investigation closed. But Andreas Kaldis, head of Greece’s Special Crimes Division, has other plans.

Kaldis presses on to unravel a mystery that yields more dead, a modern secret society, and a nagging suspicion that his answers lie in the sudden influx of non-Greeks and transient people to Tinos. When Kaldis finds a motive for murder, seemingly linked to a massive robbery, he must find the killers before more die, stop the robbery of the century . . . and get married in the process!

With its gorgeous Greek locations, engaging characters, and fast-paced plotting, this critically acclaimed international crime series is an excellent pick for fans of DONNA LEON, LOUISE PENNY, MARTIN WALKER, and DAVID HEWSON. Find out why The New York Times named Jeffrey Siger as Greece’s thriller novelist of record today!

Jeffrey Siger is an American living on the Aegean Greek island of Mykonos. A former Wall Street lawyer, he gave up his career as a name partner in his own New York City law firm to write the international bestselling, award-recognized Chief Inspector Andreas Kaldis series of mystery thrillers telling more than just a fast-paced story.

The New York Times described his novels as "thoughtful police procedurals set in picturesque but not untroubled Greek locales" and named him as Greece's thriller novelist of record. Athens Insider Magazine hails him as "a literary star," the Greek government selected him as the only American author writing novels serving as a guide to Greece, and Reader's Digest calls him "one of our new favorite authors."

Jeffrey Siger has also served as Chair of the National Board of Bouchercon, America's largest mystery convention, and as Adjunct Professor of English at Washington & Jefferson College, teaching mystery writing.
