Target Tracking by Airborne Radar Systems (Hardcover)

Automated target tracking is a necessary function of airborne radar and radio control systems. At the present time, there is no classified approach to designing and construction principles, functioning features, methods, algorithms, and procedures of synthesis and analysis of the airborne radar target tracking systems by the target range, velocity, and azimuth satisfying all long-term requirements. The present Volume 2, Target Tracking by Airborne Radar Systems: Fundamentals of Multitarget Tracking, is intended to cover the demands of uncertainty in multipurpose air and surface target tracking.

Features:

• Contains factual information about the current status of automated airborne radar target tracking systems, which will be useful for a wide range of expert participants in and out of uniform, radio engineers, radar engineers and designers, and others

•  Provides several new perspectives on methods of synthesis, analysis, and designing of airborne radar target tracking systems

• Presents examples of how to practice implementation

• Presents general information about the procedures to design and construct specific target tracking algorithms and to study their working capacity

• Describes multipurpose air and surface target tracking modes employed by monostatic and multistatic airborne radar systems when targets are present in both resolved and unresolved groups

The procedure of algorithmic realizations is delivered in detail, which will be useful without any doubt for radio and radar engineers, radar experts, and MS and PhD students.
