Book has bumped top front corner and head and heel of spine, all with no fabric damage; book has a slight lean, and spine has some odd indentations (see photo); front panel applique looks virtually new! Interior has a penciled 1937 inscription on FFEP, lightly toned paper and is otherwise perfect--strong hinges, no marks or stains, very flexible pages. Jacket has minor chipping at head and heel of spine, and a fold that crosses the bottom of the front panel; the major chip is at the top of the rear panel, taking out some of the advertising for Altemus without removing any of the titles.
