Ten Easy Day Hikes in Yellowstone: A Geezer Guide is a different type of hiking book. It is written for people who, like the authors, are either a bit "over the hill" or not in the best physical condition. This guide should be very useful for the first time hiker and folks who might like an easier or shorter hike. It's also great for families who may have "little ones" in tow. The hikes in this guide can be done by almost anyone in reasonable physical condition. Most of the trails are not heavily used. The color photos, clear trail descriptions, and topological (topo or relief) maps make it easy to achieve your goal. The humor may give you smile. There are also interesting stories and useful information about the Park. These hikes give the hiker a real feeling for the Yellowstone backcountry. That is the point and real purpose of this trail guide.
