James J.F. Forest, James J.F. Forest, Ph.D., is Professor and Director of the Security Studies program at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He is also a Senior Fellow with the U.S. Joint Special Operations University, and was previously the Director of Terrorism Studies at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point. He has taught courses and seminars for a broad range of civilian, law enforcement, and military audiences in several countries.
