This detailed catalogue presents the textile collection compiled by Yoshitaro Amano of the pre-Incaic period textiles of Peru. Includes hundreds of colorful plates, and articles written by Yukihiro Tsunoyama, editor of this book. Book is housed in a Solander box of red cloth with title gilt on spine and a toggle holding the box closed. Box is in good condition with chipping to most corners, light soiling to spine and 1 out of the 2 original toggles missing. Dust jacket is colorful with light rubbing to spine but otherwise in very good condition. Boards are red cloth with title gilt on spine with light bumping and soiling to bottom of spine, but otherwise in very good condition with interior clean and binding tight. Annotated notes and table of contents in English and Japanese but all articles are in Japanese.
