First in a series of three, The Thames Illustrated by Photographs, by William Russell Sedgefield. A very rare book with only a few in known collections. This copy is somewhat rubbed externally with fading to the gilt on the front cover and the occasional and minor split in the leather at the bottom corners. A.e.g. A very slight ripple to leaves from page 19 onwards, and a couple of dark smudges to the edge of the Cliefden text, not affecting the text. All photographs in fine condition, unspotted and without offsetting. Binding firm and tight. Inventory sticker to rpd. Glad to correspond with further photos.
