The Book Lady, Barbara Hilpman, has been selling books since 1978, first as a speciallity new book dealer and now as a used and rare bookseller. Selling on-line and at occasional regional book fairs, we aspire to quality inventory as well as quality service.

Credit card payments are through ABE.Commerce which allows book buyers to purchase abebooks.com members' books with their credit card through their secure server. Books are guaranteed as described and returnable for cause within 30 days with advance notice. Unless the book is clearly not as described, refund is for the price of the book only.

Orders are shipped promptly. All orders are shipped "Book Rate" or "priority" unless other arrangements are made. Sets, heavy books, folio and larger books are charged at exact shipping cost.
Books are guaranteed as described and returnable for cause but please notify us of any problem to arrange for return. Shipping costs will be refunded only if the book description is inaccurate.
