Scott H. Hendricks (1949 - ) was born in Sacramento, California. Scott has been a teller of tall tales since before he entered school and actually took his first writing class in third grade summer school. He graduated from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa with a BA in English and American Studies. In 1978 he moved with his wife, Lynda and his family to Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Over the last 40 years he has written articles and critiques for literary magazines and quarterlies. Twenty years ago he decided to move his writing into fiction and started to write poetry and short stories. He won several poetry contests and published several short stories and poems in magazines and e-zines. Over the last seven years he has written three murder mystery novels and continues to write in a variety of forms.
