The field of economic geography and spatial planning bridges theoretical insights and practical applications to better understand how economic activities are distributed across space. By examining the spatial dimensions of economic behavior such as location choices and regional disparities, scholars and planners can develop strategies that promote balanced growth and sustainable development. These methods can translate into concrete planning and policy decisions and inform a more integrated understanding of how space and economy can offer valuable tools for addressing contemporary challenges such as urban sprawl, economic inequality, and environmental sustainability. Theoretical and Applied Approaches to Economic Geography and Spatial Planning investigates new theories, research findings, and case studies, enhancing understanding and collaboration in issues of sustainable development and socio-economic developments in theory and practice. It analyzes the role and effects of sustainable development in economics and social integration, plotting both the related present and future trends and developments. Covering topics such as resource management, data analysis, and digital economy, this book is an excellent resource for academicians, researchers, students, policymakers, managers, corporate heads, and more.
