This book was probably published in 1958 or 1959. There are sixteen Dr. Seuss titles on the rear cover with the latest title being Yertle The Turtle which was published in 1958. Happy Birthday To You, published in 1959 is not referenced. Finally '295 295' is at the top of the front flap.The covers are in nice shape. Front and spine are very clean. Rear has a small pen jag, one small spot and the outline of a water stain just off it's top edge. It does not carry over to the rear inside cover or anywhere else. The corners have light rub-through. The two bottom edges a few spots of light rubbing. That's the case around the spine ends as well. The book is solidly bound from cover to cover. There are no binding issues. The pages are very clean. I saw one fingerprint and two borderline 'spots.' There isn't any conspicuous creasing. There are no markings. There's a child's bookplate on the rear inside cover. It has a picture of three cute dogs and nobody wrote on it. There are no other attachments and there is no writing of any kind in the book. Finally, the book has a slightly stale or musty aroma (Not smoking). It wasn't in a basement or garage, but came from an old house that had the same aroma. You can see the dust jacket in the photos. It's in pretty nice shape. Tiny losses at the spine ends. Only three very small edge tears. Pretty clean. Rubbing at the four corners. The tall flaps look good. No tears, clean, a couple of small and light edge creases, no foxing (no foxing anywhere in the book either). The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. Check out the price. It's low.
