Three Ways of Being Human is an exploration of the following idea (which is the basis for philosophy of Trihumanism):

Any phenomena can be seen from three perspectives --the universal, the individual and the shared. Each perspective is incomplete alone, but together, they grant a good understanding of something that might otherwise be too complex to grasp.

The bulk of Three Ways examines ordinary human existence through the tripartite lens. The first three sections look at the Self, the Society and Religion (each of which are also examined from three perspectives). The next section gives an administrative framework for a tripartite education, and the last section tackles questions of art and technology.

Christopher Sunami is a philosopher and educator, currently working in the Boston Public School system. He recieved his M.A. in Educational Administration from the Ohio State University and his B.A. in philosophy from Swarthmore College. He is the author of the children's book "Dhuban the Doctor", and the book of Trihumanist poetry, "a day in the life". He is an American of multiracial ancestry, committed to bringing people together across boundaries.
