Later (30s?) printing, with no color plates, undecorated endpapers, in brown cloth with pasted-down illustrationon the front (see scan). Several small tears on the cloth -- the book itself is solid and there is a small closed tear on page 113; I haven't examined it closely, but none of the pictures appear to be colored in, a standard problem in Oz books. This copy has the name "Wally Forrest" in pencil on the "This Book belongs to" page. Much more interesting is the bookplate on the front free endpaper, which bears in juvenile writing the name of noted science fiction bibliographer Neil Barron, editor of THE ANATOMY OF WONDER. He has confirmed that he had a copy when much younger and sold off all his Oz books years ago, and that this is almost undoubtedly his copy because he remembers the bookplate. The only Baum book in ANATOMY OF WONDER is THE MASTER KEY, but then Baum mostly wrote fantasy. An interesting associational copy!. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 301415
