2nd edition. 8vo. viii + 472 pages + xvi pages.This is a very comprehensive topographical dictionary of the county - see image. The first few pages are a little rippled. The text block is remarkably tight and clean but the map is not present. Previous owner's name and date (1900) on front end paper + an attractive bookplate of a more recent owner (George Redmonds) on verso of end paper. This book has been skilfully rebound in full calf leather with gilt titling and marbled end papers. It shows virtually no wear at all. A splendid 200 year old book! Very Good++.
