Pennant remedied this with his following two parts, exploring more of the country.Thomas Pennant was a Welsh naturalist, antiquarian, and traveller. He's known for his zoological works, including 'A History of Quadrupeds'.'The Journey to Snowden' with a separate title page, continuous pagination, dated 1781. In a rebacked binding, with calf to the boards and cloth spines. Externally, generally smart. Label to the tail of the spine of Volume II. Evidence of former wear to the extremities of the boards, with small chips and surface cracks. Light discolouration to the boards. Front joints are starting but firm.
