Quelques pages brunies au volumes 3. Une ancienne restauration en marge des deux premières pages du volume 1. Ouvrage très estimé parmi les contemporains de Zimmermann, publié pour la première fois en 1774. Relié à la suite, "Sur Frédéric Le Grand, et mes entretiens avec lui peu de jours avant sa mort", du même auteur.
