Contains 22 photographs, of which 19 are Trees. In original green blind stamped cloth with oval gilt Woolhope Dome stamp to front boards of the Woolhope Naturalists' Field Club. One ex-library volume, fading and wear to spines of some vols. however overall very good with all of the numerous illustrations present. For the years 1867,68,69,70,72-73, 77-78-79-80, 81-82, 83-84-85, 86-89, 93-94, 95-96-97, 1898-99, 1900-1901 to April 1902, 1905-6-7, 1908-9-10-11, 1912-13, 1914-15-16-17, 1918-19-20, 1924-5-6, 1927-8-9, 1930-1-2, 1939 [1939 volume contains Index 1912-35 and Index of Illustrations 1852-1935.]The Woolhope Naturalists' Field Club was founded in 1851 "for the practical study, in all its branches, of the Natural History of Herefordshire and the districts immediately adjacent". The club was and still is based in the city of Hereford, but took its name from the Woolhope Dome, an outcrop of Silurian rocks around the village of Woolhope to the south-east of the city.
