From the first inside page: "This pamphlet has been reprinted by the Printing Office of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Virginia. At the Printing Office (below-stairs of the Old Post Office) letter-press printing and bookbinding are done in the manner of the eighteenth century. The only known copy of A Treatise on Gardening is found in the Special Collections of the Wyndham Robertson Library at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. The Printing Office extends its thanks to Hollins University and the staff of the Wyndham Robertson Library for Making this reprinted edition possible". A small (5" x 3") booklet facsimile of what is said to be the earliest publication on gardening in America (attributed to John Randolph). Binding sewn to represent binding style of 18th century. A neat copy (undated) from 20th century reprint, 60 small pages of big history. All in very good condition with only the lightest wear.
