Third edition hardback in the Claredon Press Series, 1883, with no jacket. In overall good-to-very good used condition with minor signs of age, handling and storage - boards rubbed to edges and slightly faded to spine. Binding tight and appears almost unread - several pages remain uncut. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions; toning to page-ends but text, musical examples and large fold-out chart to rear (Diagram of the Musical Scale) bright and clear throughout.
