Near-contemporary binding, with a blank leaf bound in after each printed leaf. The few exeptions: no blank leaf inserted in 14 instances; two blank leaves inserted in 11 instances. Some, if not all, annotations written prior to binding (slight over-trimming]. In two instances the annotation is a brief sentence; the others more detailed. Front hinge starting but sound; light foxing to some leaves; tideline to 20 pages. Signature of W.A. Hendry 1832 to dedication page. Original red morocco spine label laid in.
