The text is reproduced from the author's Spenserian script. Introduction by Arnold Gingrich. Twelve plates with the actual fly tying materials affixed to the pages used to dress the trout patterns. Text illustrations. The author's hand-written script is a welcomed change from the usual drab, by-the-number descriptions found in many other texts listing fly patterns.
