FIRST EDITION, ONLY PRINTING, FIRST STATE, with commas after the words "way" (page iii of the preface, line 15) and "which" (page iv of the preface, line 18). Publisher's original dark grayish-green cloth, with yellow endpapers. There is some minor chipping to the spine tips, and a little fraying to the bottom edge of the boards. The front free endpaper is lacking, and a square inch of the bottom fore corner of the preliminary blank has been torn away. With a contemporary ink gift inscription on the preliminary blank, and the signature of the recipient, Edward Hun, on the title-page. A Very Good copy.
