Hardback: 4 colour plates (as called for) - frontispiece has the tissue guard, book is bound in blindstamped cloth with gilt titles, some rubbing and a few marks, spine looks to have been re-glued, wear and some bumping on the spine tips and corners, all page edges are gilt, ront endpapers have been replaced, presentation card (and the envelope) are pasted on the reverse of the frontispiece (Woolley Green Boys' Library, donated by Lady Heathcote in Sept 1876), some foxing and other marks, one double page is partially loose (publication fault), binding is a bit shaky and the hinge is open at the back endpapers, fair. 8vo, 92 pages + 16 page publisher's catalogue.
