A recording of the famous speech Malcolm X delivered in Detroit in 1963 produced by Charisma Records (founded in 1969) and recorded on gratis Motown equipment. 2) By Any Means Necessary. The Problem/The Solution. New York: Douglas 14/Douglas Communications, 1971. Cartridge paper slipcase included, with wear and a few tears. Illustrated cartridge label with minor wear. Douglas Records was known for its long association with Jimi Hendrix.In 1966, Ford introduced the 8-track player as an option in their cars, and within three years 8-track players were being sold for home use. Popularity of 8 tracks waned in the mid 1970s, and by the mid 1980s, they were no longer being produced (see NPR, Stephen Becker, "8 -Track Tapes Belong in a Museum").
