He hypothesizes that God constructs models within the C-layer, which serve as molds for the development of organisms. This concept is strongly inspired by Rupert Sheldrake's theory of morphic resonance, which is also discussed extensively in the book. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor: Peter Pedersen is educated as a physicist. During his years as a student, he became very sceptic of the philosophies of quantum mechanics and relativity, and this has resulted in the book The Two Layers of Physics. He became a teacher in the Danish equivalent of grammar school, but soon suffered a severe mental crisis. Having previously been a convinced atheist, he now became open to the spiritual sides of existence. After years of studies and speculation, this has led to the present theoretical work.
